UCSB Residence Hall Policies and Expectations: Verbal and Nonverbal Harassment
Verbal and nonverbal harassment made directly or indirectly (via email, social networking sites, written messages, etc.) is not tolerated. This includes verbal and nonverbal threats, malicious pranks, abusive language or harassment due to sexual orientation, ability, race, gender, religion, ethnicity or nationality.
