Harassment, which consists of verbal, visual, written, or physical conduct that is sufficiently severe, persistent or pervasive such that it adversely affects, or has the purpose or logical consequence of interfering with an individual’s education or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment. Harassment covered by the Code of Conduct may be bias related, which includes harassment on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability, including but not limited to any violation of federal or state laws or University policy prohibiting harassment.
