Pennridge School District in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, proposed a “Student Expression/Dissemination of Materials” policy that would, if adopted, impermissibly restrict students’ First Amendment rights. FIREand the National Coalition Against Censorship wrote a letter on August 11 urging the school district to abandon the vague and overbroad policy and to honor the expressive rights of students.
