FIRESenior VP at UNC Today for ‘Stossel’ Taping
Today, The Daily Tar Heel University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (UNC) students to attend a taping of Stossel, John Stossel's show on the FOX Business Network, which will be held on campus at 2 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Student Union, hosted by the UNC Young Americans for Liberty. FIRESenior Vice President Robert Shibley will be a guest on the program, discussing ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ's at nearby North Carolina State University and other campus free speech issues.
The Daily Tar Heel piece also features a great quote from former FIREintern David Deerson, one of the student organizers of the event, who says, "ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ's mission is crucial, as freedom of expression is not only constitutionally guaranteed, but educationally vital."
