Charlie Birge

Charlie writes fundraising materials for ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ, including grant applications and reports, direct mail letters, and emails.
A native Minnesotan, Charlie is based in St. Paul. In 2015, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in American studies from Macalester College, and he completed a master’s degree in cultural studies at The Ohio State University in 2019. Charlie’s concern with political polarization led to his interest in viewpoint diversity and free speech, which eventually led him to ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ.
In his spare time, Charlie enjoys the outdoors (through all of Minnesota’s seasonal extremes), swing dancing, and playing the trombone.
